Grading Basics

To log in use one of the Virtual Bryn Mawr links or go to http://virtual.brynmawr.edu, this will bring up the login page.

Type in your User ID and your password.

NOTE: Your User ID is the same as your email User ID, but your password is different unless you synchronized them!

From the main menu, under Self-Service click on Faculty Center.

If needed, select the correct term from the drop down menu and click Change.

You will see a grid with the courses you are teaching this semester.

For each course you will see the following:

The icons at the right take you to the class roster and, at the end of the semester when it is available, the grade roster .

Click the grade roster icon .

This will bring up a table with the student grade roster.

· Select the numeric grade for each student from the pull down menu.

· Click the Save button.

· Make a record of your work by either saving it to Excel using the table icon or

by printing a copy for your records using the Printer Friendly Version button.

Log Out of Virtual Bryn Mawr: To protect your privacy remember to log out of the system when you are finished.

Click Sign Out on the blue menu bar in the upper right hand corner.
