In preparing the project presented on this site, I am indebted to the members of the Mellon Tri-College Language Grant, including Lisa Frumkes, director, and Dan Beeby, technology specialist, and the directors of the language learning centers at Swarthmore, Bryn Mawr and Haverford Colleges: Mike Jones, Marc Boots-Ebbenfield, and Kathleen Lewis. The opportunity to participate in a certificate program in Technology and Language Instruction for graduate students during the summer of 1999, held at the Center for Educational Technology at Middlebury College, provided substantial contributions to the final project as well.
