Fourth Assignment

Unobtrusive Measurement: The Case of Content Analysis

Choose a topic of study with content analysis. State a hypothesis, define your variables and specify how they will be measured, indicate where and how you got your sample, analyze your data, and draw conclusions. Keep your sample small so that you do not get overwhelmed with too many cases to study.

You can use Lexis-Nexis to look at news stories and evaluate their content. See course staff for help on setting up a Lexis-Nexis search to draw your sample and get your news stories.

Due: Monday, December 4, 2006, 4-5 pages typewritten doubled-spaced.
