Surveys and Experiments

Choose a topic of study. Propose a survey and an experiment that each can produce data of relevance to understanding and explaining the topic.  Specify a design for each. Be sure to include discussion of your data source or sample, how you would draw your sample or select cases, indicate what hypothesis or hypotheses you will be testing, what variables and how they will be measured, how your data will be collected, what survey instruments or experimental inventions will
be used, and lastly what are the strengths and weaknesses of each approach in this case and how triangulating them might enable you to have a better understanding or explanation of your topic.

Case Study Analysis

Choose a topic of study. Propose a case study analysis of the topic. Your case study can be of one case or a comparative analysis. Justify why a case study is appropriate for this topic while other methods of data collection might not as appropriate. Justify why you propose the particular type of case study that you have chosen and why it is better than other case study approaches. Explain how you would conduct your study, what your data would be and how you would interpret it.
