Continuing Education Registration Information
Registration and Fees
The registration form must be completed in full. Tuition for each one-day seminar is $120 and includes lunch. Half-day seminars cost $60 and do not include lunch. Class size is limited to 25, with a minimum of 10, unless indicated otherwise. The tuition fee or agency letter of authorization must accompany the registration form.
Discounts
The tuition fee is $105 per full day seminar for:
- Field instructors currently supervising a BMCGSSWSR student
- Each individual in a group of three or more from an agency who register at the same time and pay by agency check
- Bryn Mawr College faculty members
The tuition fee is $90 per full-day seminar for:
- Current BMCGSSWSR students
There is no discount for half-day seminars, or for the SW Licensing Prep Course
Refunds and Cancellations for Regular CEd Programming
- 100% of fee may be transferred to another course within the 2009-2010 CEd series.
- 50% refund for dropped registrations without applying fee to another course in the series
- 100% forfeiture if CEd Office not advised in advance of absence
- 100% refund for cancelled courses
Pennsylvania License Renewal
The Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education and is a pre-approved provider of continuing education for social workers, professional counselors and marriage and family therapists in Pennsylvania and many states. Six credits may be earned for full day seminars, and three may be earned for half-day seminars. Credits will be reduced for those who arrive late or leave early. There is a $10 charge for replacement certificates.
Transportation and Parking
Most seminars are held at the Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. There is ample free parking. The Rosemont train station (SEPTA) is within walking distance of the School. A Bryn Mawr College shuttle is available at the Bryn Mawr train station once an hour at the quarter hour and will make stops at
the School. PLEASE NOTE: Participants are encouraged to dress in comfortable layers to accommodate variances in meeting room temperatures.
