Registration and Fees
Basic tuition for one-day workshops is $125 and includes a light lunch. Tuition for half-day workshops is $65 and does not include lunch. Class size is limited to 25, with a minimum of 12, unless indicated otherwise. Payment to the Center for Professional Development is expected at the time of registration. Checks are to be made payable to "Bryn Mawr College". Monthly statements of unpaid balances will be generated by the Bryn Mawr College Controller’s Office.
Full-day tuition is $95 for current BMCGSSWSR students. Tuition is $110 for Bryn Mawr College alumnae/i, faculty and staff, and field instructors of current BMCGSSWSR students. There is no discount for half-day seminars.
Most trainings offer CEUs for social workers, professional counselors and marriage and family therapists. A number of trainings also offer Act 48 credits. Full day programs offer six credits (excluding the CBT and DSM courses which offer 5 CEUs/session); half day programs offer three credits. Continuing education certificates are distributed at the close of trainings. There will be a $10 charge for replacement certificates.
Multi-Session Certificate and Series Information
Presentation of all sections of multi-session programs relies on adequate participant registration. Should a session be canceled due to insufficient enrollment, participants will receive a refund of tuition paid for the canceled session.
Refunds and Cancellations
Most trainings are held at the Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research, 300 Airdale Rd., Bryn Mawr, PA. There is ample free parking. The SEPTA train station (Rosemont) is within walking distance from the School. Students will be notified if a specific course is scheduled at another campus location.
General Information
As temperatures in meeting rooms tend to vary, it is recommended that participants dress in comfortable layers to accommodate any variances. In the event of a weather emergency, announcements will be posted on the Professional Development website and/or on office phones. The School’s closing number – 415 in Montgomery County, PA – will be announced on KYW 1060 AM radio.
