Registration and Fees
Fees must be paid in full prior to training date. Fees will not be collected at training check-in.
Basic tuition for full-day (9am-3:30pm) workshops is $125 and includes a light lunch. Tuition for half-day workshops is $65 and does not include lunch. Limited discounts are available for full-day workshops.
Certificate program discounts are dependent upon full tuition payment at time of registration; incremental payments for certificate program sessions are calculated at the standard workshop rate.
Class size is limited to 25, with a minimum of 12, unless indicated otherwise. Checks are to be made payable to "Bryn Mawr College". Unpaid balances will be monitored by the Bryn Mawr College Controller’s Office.
Tuition for single-day (9am-3:30pm) non-certificate and/or multi-session trainings is $95 for current BMCGSSWSR students. Tuition is $110 for Bryn Mawr College alumnae/i, faculty and staff, and field instructors of current BMCGSSWSR students. There is no discount for half-day seminars or for the SW License Exam Prep course.
Free Continuing Education and Act 48 Credit
Most trainings offer CEUs for social workers, professional counselors and marriage and family therapists. A number of trainings also offer Act 48 credits. Full day programs offer six credits (excluding CBT and HSV courses which offer 5 CEUs/session); half day programs offer three credits. Continuing education certificates are distributed at the close of training days. There will be a $10 charge for replacement certificates.
Multi-Session Certificate and Series Information
Presentation of all sections of multi-session programs relies on adequate participant registration. Should a session be canceled due to insufficient enrollment, participants will receive a refund of tuition paid for the canceled session.
Transportation and Parking
Most trainings are held at the Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research, 300 Airdale Rd., Bryn Mawr, PA. There is ample free parking. The SEPTA train station (Rosemont) is within walking distance from the School. Participants will be notified if a specific course is scheduled at an alternate Bryn Mawr College campus location, or at an off-campus venue. Travel dirctions will be provided.
It is recommended that participants dress in comfortable layers to accommodate meeting room temperature variances. In the event of a weather emergency, announcements will be posted on the Professional Development website and/or on Center phones (610-520-2602 and 610-520-2614). The School’s closing number – 415 in Montgomery County, PA – will be announced on KYW 1060 AM radio.
