Jillian Graves received her BA from Hampshire College and her MSW from Smith College. She is currently ABD at Bryn Mawr. Before coming to Bryn Mawr, she held at a variety of clinical positions, working with adults, adolescents and families. She has been a clinician at a community mental health center, working with adults with major mental illnesses, at the Middlesex County Juvenile Court Clinic, at Joseph Jay Peters Institute Juvenile Offenders Program and at Penn Medicine Psychiatric Outpatient Unit. She is currently completing her dissertation on the Experiences of Emerging Adult Siblings of People with Schizophrenia.
Research and Scholarly Interest:
Her research interests include adolescent and young adult identity development, sibling relationships, juvenile justice, particularly understanding the relationship between violence and trauma, the social problem of mass incarceration and the impact of stigma.
