Timing and Components of a Strike

The group is responsible for restoring the space to its original condition immediately
after the last performance. 

This includes:

  • Removing all props and set pieces
  • Returning all borrowed materials in their original condition
  • Disposing of all trash
  • Cleaning the Dressing Rooms
  • Stacking chairs
  • Sweeping the floor

The strike must be completed in the amount of time reserved by the group.

All borrowed costume items in need of laundering must be returned within one week of the final performance.

Additional Fees for Failure to Strike in a Timely Way

Any Student Group that has a strike that requires a hired technician to stay later than scheduled will pay $50/hour for overtime. 

This amount is tracked and billed in one-hour increments, and will be added to the final invoice.
