One of the most appealing things about Bryn Mawr's collegiate gothic architecture is its profusion of nooks and crannies—there are plenty of special little spots to go around. But a few places serve as dedicated gathering spaces for students. Cambrian Row, a series of recently renovated Victorian houses with a sweeping view of the campus, is a student-activities village that houses the offices of the Self Government Association and a variety of student clubs and organizations, kosher and halal kitchens, the campus religious advisers, the Civic Engagement Office and the Office of Intercultural Affairs. The Marie Salant Neuberger Centennial Campus Center, where the student-services staff has its offices, is a central location where students check their mail, grab a snack at the Uncommon Grounds Cafe, take in some pop culture via large-format TV or satellite radio, shoot a little pool, hold meetings, attend performances, study, or just hang out.
