Undertaking a summer research project provides students a unique educational experience outside of the classroom. Research opportunities range from lab work in the sciences to independent research in the humanities and social sciences, and take place on or off campus. Funding to support student summer research is available in the sciences as well as in the humanities and social sciences.

Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship
Through funding and academic programming for juniors and seniors, the MMUF aims to increase the number of minority students, and others with a demonstrated commitment to eradicating racial disparities, who will pursue PhDs in core fields in the arts and sciences.
