In and Around Bryn Mawr
"I had a really great living experience on campus. The dorms were clean and tidy... and the food was really good."*
Residential Life
Students live in a Bryn Mawr College residence hall with the other young women in the program and their Resident Advisors, current Bryn Mawr students or recent graduates. Students can take advantage of all of Bryn Mawr’s facilities, including the following:
The Marie Salant Neuberger Centennial Campus Center houses a café, lounge areas, the College post office and the bookshop.
Residence halls, ranging from elegant Victorian gothic to sleek post-modern in style, contribute to what architectural authorities recognize as one of the most beautiful college campuses in the country.
The Eugenia Chase Guild Computing Center offers state-of-the-art computing, available without charge for student use.
The Bern-Schwartz Gymnasium is a 50,000 square-foot facility that houses an eight-lane swimming pool, courts for basketball, badminton, and volleyball. Tennis courts, bike paths and playing fields are available for organized or impromptu games and recreation. Students under 18 can also take advantage of the College’s fitness center when accompanied by a Resident Advisor.
Campus Map
"I like the freedom to go into town for food or shopping. Made everyone feel independent and grown-up."*
