Hiroshi Iwasaki has designed scenery, costume and lighting extensively for productions including Vaclav Havel's Temptation (New York City Public Theater), and Othello, Comedy of Errors and Taming of the Shrew (Shakespeare & Co., Boston/Lenox). His Philadelphia credits include Ionesco's Macbett, On the Verge and Travesties at the Wilma Theater; Tears of Rage and Nagasaki Dust at Philadelphia Theater Co.; Snow Queen and TheTempest at Arden Theater; Assassins at P.A.R.T.; Aunt Dan and Lemon, Yankee Dawg You Die at InterAct Theater; and The Twelfth Night at Amaryllis Theater. For dance and performance art, Philadelphia DanceAlliance, South Street Dance Co. and Dance Conduit. With Mark Lord he formed a unique experimental performance company, Big House (plays & spectacles), and has designed Endgame Hamlet, The Wild Duck, Pink Melon Joy, Nothing and Quick, Fast and In a Hurry. He is also actively involved with Philadelphia Fringe Festival.
