An Act of Courage

  presented in the Goodhart Common Room at 7:30pm

An Act of Courage wrenches Hedda Gabler from the rigorously structured action of her original text and thrusts her into three very different social situations. How does she present herself for us? How does she act when she thinks she's alone? And who is she, truly, at her core? By looking at her suicide through different scopes of being, we are able to comprehend Hedda as a social and emotional being and thus better evaluate our degree of empathy towards her actions.
