About the TLI
The Teaching and Learning Initiative was created in 2006 by a group of faculty, staff, administrators, and students committed to building community and enriching education through fostering dialogue and collaboration among faculty, staff, and students.
The Initiative is founded on the following core commitments and processes:
- To create new campus spaces and structures within which all members — faculty, staff, and students — interact as teachers, learners, and colleagues
- To collaborate and create relationships that move beyond the limitations of traditional roles available in higher education
- To link everyone within the College community to educational opportunity and the
opportunity to foster it for others
With a grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and support from the offices of the Provost, the Chief Administrative Officer, and the Chief Information Officer, Bryn Mawr College offers faculty, staff, and students a range of opportunities to work together as partners.
The following programs aim to provide structures within which participants collaborate to explore, experiment with, and revise educational experiences and support one another as members of the College community:

- Pedagogy Workshops for Graduate Students
- Reciprocal Teaching and Learning Partnerships among Staff, Students, and Faculty
