The Philadelphia Museum of Art and Bryn Mawr College have invited 8 colleges and universities to participate in the seventh annual Philadelphia Symposium. The 8 participating institutions are Bryn Mawr College and Johns Hopkins, Pennsylvania State, Princeton, Rutgers, and Temple Universities and the Universities of Pennsylvania and Delaware. 

One art history graduate student from each university will present a paper on their current research. Bryn Mawr graduate student Michael Jay McClure will make a presentation based on his Master's thesis on Mathew Barney's film, Cremaster 2. 

Distinguished art historian Cristelle Baskins will respond to the papers at the conclusion of the program.

Pre-registration includes admission to the Keynote address by Dr. Baskins at Bryn Mawr College on Friday, March 22.
