An evening with author Caryl Phillips
|
Caryl Phillips was born in St. Kitts, brought up in Leeds, educated at Oxford and now lives in New York City. He has taught literature and creative writing at Amherst College and Barnard College and now teaches at Yale University, where he is a professor in the English Department. Phillips is the editor of two anthologies, has written for television, radio, theatre and cinema and he is the author of three works of non-fiction and eight novels.
