They find tools and guidance for that preparation everywhere at Bryn Mawr. Bryn Mawr has a strong tradition in experiential learning; for more than 15 years, the Praxis program has given students the chance to put what they're learning in the classroom into practice. Each spring, close to 200 students receive College funding for internships and research. Many of these programs are the work of the College's Career and Civic Engagement Center, the driving force behind many of the College's opportunities for personal and professional development. More than just offering programs, the Center helps students assess and reassess where they are, where they're going, and what they need to get there.
Bryn Mawr students are committed to preparing themselves to make significant contributions in work and life.
