Welcome to the Bryn Mawr College community!
COVID-19 has created many challenges for how we engage with one another and help you and your student transition to college. In any other year we would have held several meetings during the afternoon of our New Student Arrival Days for you to meet and interact with key contacts in your student's life at Bryn Mawr. Below you will find videos and information that you would have received during parent and guardian orientation. We hope that this information is helpful.
Please know that your student has many supports on campus. In the dorm, your student has access to our student dorm leadership team who help students navigate their way through college. Your student, even new remote and commuter students, have a Customs Group led by members of the dorm leadership team who have been connecting with all new students via zoom. Many Customs Groups are participating together in our scheduled quarantine activities.
Your student also has a support in their dean and can contact their dean at any time for any reason. If you have non emergency concerns about your student that you feel we need to be alerted to please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If your student has contacted you and needs urgent counseling they can call ProtoCall, the on-call counseling service, at 610-526-7778. In any situation where you might be concerned about their wellbeing and feel that it is an emergency, please contact Campus Safety at 610-526-7911.
