Help us get to know you better. Interviews are strongly recommended for each applicant, but not required (with the exception of homeschooled students). The interview is used as part of our holistic review process to help us gain greater insight into you as an individual. Additionally, interviews can provide an opportunity to ask questions about Bryn Mawr in a more personal setting.
Please note: Students may complete only one interview. The Office of Admissions does not prefer one type of interview over another.
- On-campus Interview (schedule as part of your campus visit)
- Skype Interview
- Alumna Interview
Interviews must be completed by the application plan deadline to which you applied.
- Early Decision I Applicants: Nov. 15
- Early Decision II and Regular Decision Applicants: Jan. 15
- Fall Transfer Applicants: March 1
All alumna interviews must be requested by November 15.
Due to the volume of interview requests for Regular Decision, all on-campus and Skype interviews for that application plan must be requested by December 15 and completed by January 15.
Important Note for Applicants in China:
Because of the volume of requests, Bryn Mawr cannot accommodate alumnae or Skype interviews in China. As an alternative, you may arrange an interview with InitialView. This service provides the opportunity to talk personally with an interviewer in China. The conversation will be recorded and can be reviewed by the Bryn Mawr Admissions Office. We realize there is a cost for this service; please know that interviews are strongly recommended, but not required.
