Comments from the 2016 post-event survey
"I think the most important thing I learned was that having conversations about class on campus is really important and should not be uncomfortable or rare; we should talk about it all the time and not be silent when issues arise."
"I think my awareness of those whose backgrounds differ from mine was significantly heightened, as yesterday they were really given a voice."
"Members of our community, especially staff and students from working class and poor backgrounds, DO very much want to talk about class and its impact on the overall learning environment at Bryn Mawr. And our community members in very large numbers do seem willing and able to discuss and learn about class, even though it is a difficult topic to risk exploring."
"Most significant takeaway was seeing the participation from the community and realizing that there are many in this community that believe in an inclusive community for all."
"I enjoy hearing diverse voices and feeling a part of the entire Bryn Mawr community—neither faculty, students, nor staff, but all three joined together to seek common goals."
