We look forward to welcoming back the class of 2020 for an in-person celebration on Saturday, July 31 and Sunday, August 1, 2021. The ceremony on Sunday will be live streamed beginning at 9:50 a.m.
Guests and Health and Safety Update
We are very happy to let you know that there will be no limitations on the number of guests who can attend. In addition, you and your guests will not be required to wear masks outdoors, although we strongly encourage those who are not vaccinated to remain masked if they are in extended close contact with others or in a large, crowded space (such as under the Commencement tent). Masks continue to be required indoors, regardless of vaccination status.
The College has reserved blocks of rooms at three local hotels with some discount on rates. Please check directly with each property to see if there is still space available.
Parking will be available in all lots except the Erdman lot. We will have shuttle service from the Gateway lot and the lot at the Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research beginning at 9:00am. Shuttles will depart when full (reduced occupancy as part of our COVID protocols) and make continuous loops until the reception is over at 2:00pm.
We have contracted with Legacy Photographics to take pictures of each graduate. Our multimedia staff will be videtaping the ceremony; please contact them directly at email@example.com if you are interested in purchasing a DVD of the ceremony. We will be live streaming the entire ceremony beginning at 9:50am on Sunday morning.
Because of the layout of the stage and the chairs, individuals are not permitted into the front section of the tent to take photos. Thank you for understanding.
