Black History Month: Music and Discussion with Gullah Band Ranky Tanky

Ranky Tanky band members, Charlton Singleton and Clay Ross, will perform musical selections and lead a discussion on Gullah culture.

Ranky Tanky performs timeless music from the Gullah culture of the southeastern Sea Islands. Join them for an hour of music and historical tidbits from band members. Trumpet and vocalist Charlton Singleton will facilitate a special conversation around maintaining traditions with BIPOC students afterward.
