Climate scientists, writers, activists and environmentalists are invited to a series of “brown bag” lunches focused on sharing climate-related work within and across disciplines. Each lunch will highlight a different topic, including (but not limited to) climate policy, recent advances in science, and radical environmentalism. Meet special guests and learn about student and faculty climate research!
Upcoming events will be posted on Facebook, Instagram, and the Daily Digest. Follow @bmcwritingclimate on Facebook or Instagram to be notified about events!
Our first lunch hour will feature Roger Karapin, who is a professor of political science at Hunter College and author of the award-winning book Political Opportunities for Climate Policy: California, New York and the Federal Government. His expertise includes climate and energy politics, social and political movements, German politics, and more.
