This year, the program’s ninth, LTT will run from early June through July with a hybrid approach (as last year, due to the pandemic).

Italian Department's Alessandro Giammei Co-Curates Translation of Letters of Virginia Woolf and Lytton Strachey

Assistant Professor of Italian Alessandro Giammei and Italian writer Chiara Valerio have co-curated and co-translated an edition of the letters of Virginia Woolf and Lytton Strachey for the Italian publisher nottetempo.

Julien Suaudeau's 'Le Spectateur Zéro' Named 2020 Best French Book on Film

Le Spectateur zéro: Conversation sur le montage (The Spectator Zero: A Conversation About Film Editing), co-written by Julien Suaudeau, lecturer in French and Francophone Studies and director of Film Studies, recently received the 2020 Best French Book on Film award from the Syndicat Français de la Critique de Cinéma. Suaudeau co-wrote the book with the film editor Yann Dedet.

Min Kyung Lee Awarded the First Banister Fletcher Global Fellowship

Min Kyung Lee, assistant professor of Growth and Structure of Cities, was recently awarded the Banister Fletcher Global Fellowship. The Fellowship is endowed by the University of London Institute in Paris partnered with the Bartlett School of Architecture and Queen Mary University of London.

Watson Fellow Zijia Zhuang ’21 Will Travel to Russia, Japan, Taiwan, Ghana, and Germany

The Thomas J. Watson Fellowship is a one-year grant for purposeful, independent exploration outside the U.S., awarded to graduating seniors nominated by one of 41 partner institutions.

Trang Duong '22 Researches COVID-19 in Vietnam

Since the fall, math major/data science minor Trang Duong '22 has worked as a researcher with Oxford University’s Clinical Research Unit (OUCRU), which is modeling COVID-19 cases and transmission in her home country of Vietnam.
