Intro to DBT Workshop

This workshop will introduce you to the basic tenets of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills that improve emotional and interpersonal health. Students with prior DBT experience may benefit from attending this workshop if they would like to discuss ways to continue strengthening their DBT skills. No prior DBT experience is necessary. Local resources will be provided.

Mental Health and Systems of Oppression 

This workshop is open for students of color who are interested in talking about the intersection of mental health, systems of oppression, and racial trauma. The workshop will also serve as an opportunity to identify if there is interest in creating an ongoing support group related to this topic.

Trans at BMC

This workshop is for trans/non-cis students who are interested in talking about what it's like to be trans/non-cis at BMC. The workshop will also serve as an opportunity to identify if there is interest in creating an ongoing support group related to this topic.

Trauma and Resiliency

This workshop will provide general information about the impact of traumatic experiences, introduce skills for building resilience, and explore ways to communicate about past trauma.

Trans 101 

This workshop is meant to serve as a safe space for folks who are interested in gaining introductory knowledge about gender diversity (trans, non-binary, non-cis, etc.) and will provide resources for ongoing learning.

Multilingual International Support

This workshop is for multilingual international students who are interested in discussing their experiences at BMC and adapting to western culture. This workshop will also serve as an opportunity to identify if there is interest in creating an ongoing support group related to this topic.
