The Director of Environmental Health and Safety is responsible for Bryn Mawr College's environmental and occupational safety programs as well as the College's Workers Compensation insurance program.
The College's environmental health and safety program addresses hazardous materials management, laboratory safety, indoor air quality, fire safety, asbestos management, occupational safety/injury prevention, safety trainings and workers compensation.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a minimum of seven years of Environmental Health and Safety experience. A Bachelor's degree is required. An advanced degree in a related field from an accredited program is preferred and certification as an Industrial Hygienist (CHI), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) is highly preferred.
