The Financial Aid Counselor will perform need analysis for domestic and international students, determine financial aid eligibility and prepare financial aid awards; Coordinate Bryn Mawr federal and state aid programs; Provide financial aid counseling to students and their families; and other duties as assigned by the Director of Financial Aid.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and at least 1 years’ relevant work experience or any combination of experience, education or training which provides the required skills, abilities and knowledge. Excellent interpersonal skills along with a commitment to customer service is vital to this role along with the ability to work with people from all backgrounds. Must be willing and able to learn and retain federal, state and institutional financial aid policies and regulations. Strong computer skills with Word and Excel is required. Experience with PeopleSoft is a plus.
