Bryn Mawr College has an opening for a full time First-Year Experience Coordinator
Reporting to the Assistant Dean of the College and Director of Student Activities and Orientation, the First-Year Experience Coordinator collaborates with multiple constituencies to provide a well-rounded, guided and positive experience for all first-year students, helping students transition to and successfully navigate their first year. Coordinates the THRIVE Program (the College’s first-year experience program); assists with new student orientation; trains, mentors, and supervises student leaders; develops summer communications and engagement for incoming students; and assists in event planning and management.
This is a grant funded position through the end of academic year 2021/22. The position could be extended but is not guaranteed.
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and two or more years of relevant experience. A Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred. Competency with MS Office, college data-management software, Moodle, and web-editing platforms. Ability to work a flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends as needed.
