Senior Development Officer

Bryn Mawr College has an opening for a Senior Development Officer.

The Position

Reporting to the Director of Major Gifts, the Senior Development Officer is responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of a portfolio of approximately 150 individual donors and prospects with the capacity to make gifts of $100,000 or more. The Senior Development Officer will be a vital member of the Alumnae/i Relations and Development team and will help ensure the success of the College’s current campaign and beyond. 

Bachelor’s degree required along with prior experience in major gift fundraising, with a minimum of five-years’ experience soliciting gifts of $50,000-plus, preferably in an institution of higher education. Will be required to travel domestically, including transportation by air, train, car. Must have a driver’s license and be willing to drive. Some nights and weekends are required.
