Bucher-Jackson Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Sciences

The Bryn Mawr College Department of Physics seeks a Bucher-Jackson Postdoctoral Fellow in the Sciences for the academic year 2023-2024, beginning on August 1, 2023. The fellowship is renewable for a second year. This is a combined teaching and research fellowship, with the expectation that the fellow will teach two courses each year. The research project will focus on using computational approaches to study RNA structure design. The fellow must have a Ph.D. earned by the start date in Physics, Biophysics, or another field related to the research area. Previous experience in computational approaches will be an advantage. The project offers ample opportunity for creative and cross-disciplinary approaches. The postdoctoral fellow will be encouraged to collaborate with undergraduate students on publications and present at key conferences in the field.
