Insurance Information

Bryn Mawr College requires all students to be covered by health insurance.

The College provides a student health insurance plan for matriculated undergraduates (if you have purchased the College health insurance plan or are participating in a Study Abroad Program).  

Graduate and post-baccalaureate students have the option of purchasing insurance through the College's plan.

All international students are required to be enrolled in the College's international student insurance plan.

Student Health Insurance

Additional services are offered by the Student Health Plan. Access these additional services from your Student Insurance. Free 24-hour service is available with the Student Health Insurance. Telemedicine Number: 855-870-5858.

Regular Health and Wellness Center Hours

Health and Wellness Center Hours:

Monday-Friday: 9 am – 5 pm by appointment. Please call  610-526-7360 to schedule an appointment. 

In addition, Medical Services offers extended hours until 7pm on Monday and Thursday.

Counseling services may offer evening groups throughout the academic year.


What to do if you need health care when the Health and Wellness Center is closed:

  • For medical issues, please call  610-517-4921.
  • To speak with a counselor, please use the MySSP app

    Free Mental Health Support is available for all currently enrolled BMC students on or off campus through MYSSP.

    For those outside the U.S. and Canada, here is information on avoiding international dialing fees while using MySSP abroad. Information about use abroad can also be found in the app. MySSP which provides confidential 24/7 free counseling to all students. What to do in an after-hours crisis:
