Human Resources Coordinator
Bryn Mawr College has an opening for a Human Resources Coordinator.
Position Overview: The Office of Human Resources at Bryn Mawr College is seeking an HR Coordinator to play an essential role in providing support to faculty, staff, and student workers. The HR Coordinator will be a proactive change agent with Workday experience, ensuring timely and accurate data entry related to employee compensation, benefits, and other personnel matters. The HR Coordinator will also support new employee onboarding, student employment, and other HR activities.
Characteristic Responsibilities:
- Responsible for onboarding new faculty and staff.
- Coordinate student employment administration and respond to related questions.
- Serve as primary point of contact within HR for Workday data entry.
- Ensure and maintain accurate personnel records and updates to employee and student-worker records.
- Conduct background checks.
- Collaborate with other members of the HR team on Workday initiatives and HR projects/process improvements.
- Provide backup support to other HR functions.
- Partner with Payroll to process retroactive adjustments and final paychecks. Review monthly and biweekly payroll to ensure accuracy.
- May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum five years related experience or a combination of education, experience, and/or relevant skills that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
- Experience working in Human Resources and with Workday. Higher education experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage priorities and time effectively.
- Ability to think creatively and work collaboratively with applicants and members of the campus community.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a collaborative HR team.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively represent the Office of Human Resources, maintaining confidentiality, and handling sensitive information and situations with care and professionalism.
- Strong proficiency with Word, Excel, and other applicable software.
- Willingness to embrace change and new technologies.
- Awareness of the interrelation of HR disciplines and their importance in providing comprehensive HR services and support.
- Successful completion of satisfactory background checks.
