Biography
Tonja Nixon is a Bryn Mawr graduate and has been in the Dean’s Office since 2016. In addition to advising, she devotes time to supporting the First-Generation/Low-Income (FGLI) Steering Committee, the Racial Justice Impact Fund, and the College's connections to the Posse Foundation. She is also an Assistant Coach for the Track & Field teams in the Athletics Department.
Dean Nixon has an M.S.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education. She lives in Philadelphia with her partner and their dog, and she enjoys cooking, sports, activism, ceramics and reading in her free time.
