What have you done after graduating from Bryn Mawr?

I attended Princeton University’s Master in Finance program for two years and then started working at J.P. Morgan Asset Management as a quantitative researcher.

How does math connect with your current occupation?

For a quantitative research role, a deep level of understanding regarding mathematical modelling is definitely required.

How has your math experience at Bryn Mawr prepared you for your current position and life after Bryn Mawr?

Being able to think logically, systematically and critically is what I gained from four years of mathematical training.

What aspect of the math major did you find particularly useful?

The ability to think with strong logic!

Do you have any memories of the Bryn Mawr Math Department that you would like to share with current students and/or prospective students?

The professors in the Bryn Mawr Math Department are the best! Incredible accessibility and mentorship from all perspectives!

Also, given the small size of the student body, all math majors know each other and the department is like a whole big happy family.

Do you have any advice for current or prospective math majors?

While dedicating yourself in the theoretical world and working hard, try to think about the real world applications as well.
