Carolyn Hoke, Executive Leadership Coach

Carolyn is an Organizational Development Consultant, specializing in professional and personal coaching.  She has used her highly developed consultative skills most recently as Director of Coaching and Mentoring for Abington - Jefferson Health System, while continuing to maintain an independent practice consisting of executive and personal coaching and training design and delivery.            

As Director of Coaching and Mentoring for Abington - Jefferson Health System, her primary focus was to increase organizational capabilities and facilitate organizational transformation by building strong, collaborative relationships and partnerships with individuals, units and departments.  She provided personalized coaching for individuals across all levels of the organization, and consulted across all disciplines regarding Patient and Employee Satisfaction, Performance Management, Change Management, and Team Building.  She provided the infrastructure for and managed the development and integration of select projects and initiatives contributing to the hospital’s business needs and goals.  

Carolyn also administered and delivered workshops for the Leadership Development Certificate program, the Supervisory Series program, and programs for individual contributors.  Over the years, she has researched, developed and enhanced new and existing training programs using demonstrated skills in adult learning theory and program design and delivery.  Her training delivery reflects her special style of interpersonal communication and engaging platform skills, developed through her work in psychology and theater. Her competencies in these areas are reflected in her ability to engage others in the learning process and to be sensitive to both individual and organizational needs and requirements.

 Carolyn received a B.S.W. from California State University. She has completed graduate programs in “Orientation to Instructional Systems Design” and “Systematic Instructional Development” at Penn State Great Valley, “Total Quality Management” at Widener University and “Advanced Certificate in Culturally Competent Human Services” at Temple University Multicultural Training and Research Institute. She holds certifications to deliver the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (a personality type indicator,) Skills Deployment Inventory (a conflict style indicator,) “Dimensions of Diversity” (a diversity model,) “The Customer/Supplier Model” (a Total Quality Management tool) and Project Management (Basics and Advanced.)  Most recently, she completed Notre Dame’s Leadership and Management certificate program.  Her affiliations include the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and the Organization Development Network (ODN.)

Carolyn is the owner and principal of “Life Design Strategies” located in Pine Hill, New Jersey.

Andrea S. Taylor, Ph.D.
 

Andrea Taylor, NELI Coach

Andrea was the Director of Training at Temple University’s Intergenerational Center. She has a rich professional history as an educator, program developer, trainer and professional coach. She was the developer and director of Across Ages, an evidence-based youth mentoring approach to substance abuse prevention that was certified by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

She has provided consultation and training in youth development to numerous federal, state and local agencies including the U.S. Office of Minority Health, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as Institutions of Higher Education, school districts and departments of public health in over 40 states. 

Andrea is currently the president of TaylorConsulting, LLC and provides services to government and non-profit agencies, colleges and universities on leadership development, research methodologies, program evaluation, fundraising and strategic planning. 

She is certified as an Integral Coach by New Ventures West, which is a yearlong comprehensive International Coaching Federation ACTP certification program. She offers professional and life coaching through her coaching practice, Woman’s Encore, LLC. She holds both a Master’s degree in education and a Doctorate in Urban Policy and Planning from Temple University.
