Wellness Week: Listen, Learn, and Connect: 100 Women in Finance

Are you interested in a career in finance? Listen, Learn, and Connect with professionals from various fields and backgrounds who will share their perspectives and insights on careers in finance. Career & Civic Engagement Center staff will moderate!

Panelists:

  • Laura Costanzo '10 graduated from Bryn Mawr with a degree in economics from Haverford. After graduating, she accepted a job in the Cantor Fitzgerald Risk Analyst Rotational Program, where she worked for four years. She decided to leave Cantor to join a hedge fund called Moore Capital where she has now been working for eight and a half years. She has taken on a variety of roles in the Treasury department and is in charge of counterparty risk and managing their collateral management team.

  • Ariane Marchis-Mouren '17 is an associate on BlackRock's Investment Stewardship (BIS) team based in London. Her primary responsibilities include supporting the team with its proxy voting activities, and contributing to BlackRock's engagement with companies in the EMEA region on governance, social, and environmental issues. In addition to her work on the Investment Stewardship team, Ariane is passionate about promoting diversity, inclusion and intersectionality in the workplace, and is a committee member of the firm’s Out & Allies network, 100 Women in Finance NextGen committee, and the Diversity Project’s LGBT+ workstream. At Bryn Mawr, Ariane majored in economics (at Haverford) and international studies, and minored in political science. She then pursued a M.A. in international relations with a focus on European security from Durham University in England.

  • Allison Jegla is the Global Director of Impact at 100 Women in Finance. She is part of 100WF's Impact team, where she oversees pre-career initiatives and university partnerships. She holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard University. While at Harvard, Allison participated in the Harvard Higher Education Forum, consulted for the National Center for Rural Education Research Networks, and was a recipient of the Phyllis Strimling Award in recognition of her work in advancing women in society. Allison is co-author of the book Becoming Great Universities: Small Steps for Sustained Excellence, published by Princeton University Press in May 2022.
