University Scholars Program at Bryn Mawr College: A Partnership with Nanyang Technological University
NTU’s University Scholars Program provides substantial scholarships to a cohort of very high-performing undergraduates to pursue their education at NTU’s Colleges of Humanities, Arts, Social Science. These scholarships include fully funded semester-long study-abroad opportunities at Bryn Mawr College and other selected partner universities in the U.S. and elsewhere.
The Nanyang Technological University, an autonomous, publicly funded university in Singapore, is a comprehensive and research-intensive university that is consistently ranked amongst the world's best universities and is regarded as one of the top two universities in Asia. More than 33,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students attend NTU.
Launched in the 2017-18 academic year, the USP program is designed to bring between four and six students annually to Bryn Mawr. This program builds on and extends a generative partnership between Bryn Mawr and Nanyang Technical University, including an exchange program and the International Summer School, in which NTU and Bryn Mawr faculty co-teach and through which many Bryn Mawr and NTU students have studied together.
