Becky Ross joined Bryn Mawr College in December 2017 as Senior Associate Director for Alumnae Career Services in the Center for Career and Professional Development, within the Leadership, Innovation, and Liberal Arts Center (LILAC). Becky has more than two decades of experience and leadership in higher education career services.
Most recently, Becky served as Director of the West Chester University Twardowski Career Development Center, where she provided leadership and strategic direction to inspire and empower the lifelong pursuit of career aspirations.
Prior to her work at WCU, Becky served students and alumni at Drexel University, Princeton University, the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Florida. Becky completed her graduate school training in a liberal arts career center and approximately half of her experience has been almost exclusively with liberal arts and sciences students. Becky has a particular passion for working with LGBTQIA clients and helping all individuals live their authentic lives personally and professionally.
Becky completed her Master of Arts degree in Counseling and Student Personnel Psychology at the University of Minnesota and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University. Becky started college at Georgia Tech where she studied Aerospace Engineering and participated in cooperative education by working at Lockheed Aeronautical Systems Company. Her own academic and career journey was the inspiration for her commitment to career development.
Becky lives in Drexel Hill, PA with Ellie, the sweetest lap cat she’s ever had. In her spare time, she is an avid film-goer and foodie, enjoys antiquing and flea markets, and can be regularly found walking in the Heinz Refuge and the Longwood Gardens Meadow.
