Isabelle has worked at Bryn Mawr since 2005 in a variety of roles -- teaching, managing undergraduate student internship and fellowship grants, and undergraduate academic advising. She joined Bryn Mawr's Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program in 2016. In addition to her role on the admissions committee, she helps students identify suitable volunteer positions, oversees student-driven events, and assists students with their "glide year" job search. Isabelle also offers workshops on confronting implicit biases in healthcare settings tailored for the postbac student community.
Isabelle graduated from Wesleyan University where she majored in what was then called Women's Studies (now Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies), and she earned a Ph.D. in Political Science from Rutgers University, New Brunswick. She lives in northwest Philadelphia. When she is not at Bryn Mawr, Isabelle enjoys spending time with her partner and their son, and walking the family dog in Fairmount Park.
