Jennifer Beale has just less than ten years of experience in the higher education career counseling field. She is the Assistant Director & Pre-Law Advisor for Bryn Mawr College’s Leadership Innovation and Liberal Arts Center (LILAC) within Career and Professional Development (CPD).
For her first job out of college she worked at a center city non-profit, Philadelphia Futures, helping neighborhood high school students achieve their goal of attending and completing college which is where she developed an interest in educational counseling. After completing her masters, she began her career in the field of Career Counseling at the both Haverford and Bryn Mawr Colleges in a temporary position in 2006, and has worked as a Career Counselor at two other institutions (University of the Sciences & Villanova University) and has served as prelaw advisor at Bryn Mawr for 4 years.
Jennifer received her B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies at The Pennsylvania State University and M.S.Ed in Psychological Services/Counseling at University of Pennsylvania. Jennifer likes to talk about how to grow, cook and eat food. She enjoys spending time with friends and family in the outdoors and reading books to her kids.
