A student was transported to CHOP Urgent Care for evaluation and treatment of an allergic reaction.

Officers responded to Merion Hall on the report of a bat in the first- floor lounge. Officers removed the bat.

Tuesday, Sept. 1 | 3:45 p.m. | Odor | Pembroke East
Officers responded to Pembroke East on the report of an odor of marijuana. The Officers were unable to locate the source of the odor.

Tuesday, Sept. 1 | 7:09 p.m. | Information | Rhoads Hall
Officers responded to the rear of Rhoads Hall on the report of unknown individuals not wearing masks or social distancing. Officers observed the subjects who were wearing masks and following social distance protocols.

Officers responded to Rockefeller Arch on the report of two unknown individuals taking pictures. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

Thursday, Sept. 3 | 12 a.m. | Noise | Rockefeller Hall
Officers responded to Rockefeller Hall on the report of excessive noise. Officers spoke to the occupant of the room who complied when asked to lower the volume.

A student was transported to CHOP Urgent Care for evaluation and treatment of an allergic reaction.

Thursday, Sept. 3 | 9:19 p.m. | Medical | Merion Hall
Officers responded to Merion Hall on the report of an ill student. The student spoke to Protocol staff who determined medical attention was not necessary.

Friday, Sept. 4 | 9:04 p.m. | Medical | Pembroke East
Officers responded to Pembroke East on the report that a student had suffered an insect bite. The student declined transport to Bryn Mawr Hospital or CHOP Urgent care.

Sunday, Sept. 6 | 12:41 a.m. | Noise Complaint | Rhoads North
Officers responded to Rhoads North beach area on the report of excessive noise. Students complied when asked to lower the volume.

Sunday, Sept. 6 | 12:26 p.m. | Fire Alarm | Rhoads Hall
Officers responded to Rhoads Hall on the report of a fire alarm activation. Building checked; officers were unable to determine the cause of the activation.

Sunday, Sept. 6 | 3:20 p.m. | Fire Alarm | Radnor Hall
Officers responded to Radnor Hall on the report of an alarm activation. Officers were unable to reset the alarm panel. Facilities Services on-call mechanic notified.

Officers responded to the front of Rhoads Hall on the report of a group of students not adhering to COVID-19 precautions. Students complied when asked to put masks on and maintain social distancing.

Information received regarding a group of Bryn Mawr College students who left campus to attend an event at a local college.

While operating a College-owned vehicle, a staff member reports striking a fixed object with the vehicle. No injuries; minor damage to vehicle.

A student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Tuesday, Sept. 8 | 1:37 p.m. | Information | Pembroke Arch
A staff member reports being approached by an unknown individual asking for money. Campus Safety officers responded and conducted a search of the area and surrounding areas. The subject was not located.

Friday, Sept. 11 | 12:45 p.m. | Information | Goodhart
Officers responded to the exterior of Goodhart Hall on the report of a group of students not socially distancing or wearing masks. Officers reminded the students of College guidelines.

Friday, Sept. 11 | 5:40 p.m. | Information | GSSWSR
Officers responded to the GSSWSR on a report of a group of people smoking marijuana. A group of students were on the bleachers; no violations were observed.

Friday, Sept. 11 | 7:28 p.m. | Alarm Activation | Canaday Library
Officers responded to Canaday Library on the report of a panic alarm. Investigation determined a new staff member was being shown the panic alarm button resulting in an accidental trip of the system.

Saturday, Sept. 12 | 12:55 p.m. | Information | Child Study
While on routine patrol, a Campus Safety officer observed a group of students near the tennis courts playing beer pong. Numerous students ran from the scene; officers spoke to the students who remained.

Saturday, Sept. 12 | 1:33 p.m. | Well-Being Check | Bryn Mawr College
Officers conducted a well-being check on a resident student. Contact was made with the student who will contact the concerned party.

Officers responded to Erdman Hall on the report of an odor of marijuana. Officers spoke to a resident student regarding candles burning and the College smoking policy.

While operating a College-owned vehicle, a staff member reports backing into a fixed object. No injuries; minor damage to vehicle bumper.

A student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Saturday, Sept. 26 | 2:29 a.m. | Alarm Fire | Rhoads South
Officers responded to Rhoads South on the report of a fire alarm activation. Investigation determined the alarm was caused by food in a microwave creating a smoky condition. Fan placed in the area to dissipate smoke and odor.

Officers conducted a well-being check on a resident student. Contact was made with the student who will get in touch with the concerned party.

Officers responded to the Denbigh green on report of a small group of students gathering under a tent and not following COVID-19 protocol. Officer’s spoke to the group.

Sunday, Sept. 27 | 12:30 a.m. | Information | Carpenter Library
While on patrol on the rooftop area, a Campus Safety officer found alcohol and various unattended items. Items brought to Campus Safety Headquarters and were later pick up by the owners.

Sunday, Sept. 27 | 4:18 a.m. | Intoxication | Pembroke East
Officers responded to a restroom in Pembroke East on the report of an ill student. The student, who was suffering from an alcohol related illness, was assessed by officers and student will have friends check on her throughout the day,

Sunday, Sept. 27 | 5:14 p.m. | Theft | Erdman Hall
A resident student reports the theft of juice and cash from her unlocked room. The student was advised to keep her room secured at all times.

A student who had been unsuccessful in reaching the Health Center contacted Campus Safety regarding a health-related concern. The Campus Safety Dispatcher made contact with a Health Center nurse who will get in touch with the student.

Friday, Oct. 2 | 12:15 p.m. | Transport | Bryn Mawr College
The belongings of three resident students who tested positive for COVID-19 were transported to Radnor Hall by a Campus Safety officer.

Saturday, Oct. 3 | 12:53 a.m. | Alcohol | Rhoads South
A Bryn Mawr College student who resides off campus was transported from Rhoads South to Bryn Mawr Hospital by Narberth Ambulance for evaluation and treatment.

Sunday, Oct. 4 | 12:54 a.m. | Information | Rockefeller Hall
Officers responded to Rockefeller on the report of an odor of smoke. Facilities on-call mechanic notified. Investigation determined the odor was from the release of steam from the heating/cooling system.

Officers responded to Dalton Hall on the report of an odor of natural gas. Facilities Services was contacted to check the mechanical equipment.

Saturday, Oct. 10 | 1:51 a.m. | Medical | Rockefeller Hall
Officers responded to Rockefeller Hall on the report of an ill student. The student refused transport to Bryn Mawr Hospital.

Saturday, Oct. 10 | 4:15 p.m. | Medical | Pembroke West
A student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Sunday, Oct. 11 | 12:35 a.m. | Alcohol | Sunken Garden
A student who was suffering from an alcohol related illness was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital by Narberth Ambulance for evaluation and treatment.

A student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital by Narberth Ambulance for evaluation and treatment.

Monday, Oct. 12 | 1:44 p.m. | 911 Hang-Up | New Dorm
A 911 call was received by Lower Merion Police; originating from a CP Study Room in New Dorm. Lower Merion Police officers were on scene with Campus Safety officers. Building was checked with negative findings. Campus Director of Infrastructure and Systems Chief Technologist notified.

A student was transported to Urgent Care for evaluation and treatment.

Thursday, Oct. 15 | 7:20 a.m. | Medical | Athletic Field
Campus Safety officers and Narberth Ambulance responded to the athletic field on the report of an ill student. The student was evaluated by EMTs but refused transport to the hospital.

Thursday, Oct. 15 | 2:35 p.m. | Medical | Off Campus
A student who became ill at an off-campus location was transported back to campus by a Campus Safety officer.

Friday, Oct. 16 | 1:14 p.m. | Medical | Campus Center
Officers responded to the Campus Center on the report of an ill student. The student was transported to her residence hall and was advised to contact the Health and Wellness Center if her condition worsened.

Campus Safety was contacted regarding students attending outside rallies and not self-quarantining upon their return to campus.

While on patrol, a Campus Safety officer observed a small fire in a fire pit in the area behind Rhoads Hall. Several students using the fire pit extinguished the fire.

Thursday, Nov. 19 | 11:22 a.m. | Information | Arnecliffe
An officer observed an apartment door unsecured in the Arnecliffe building. Further investigation revealed unauthorized use of Apartment 3. The building was secured and Facilities Services notified.

Thursday, Nov. 19 | 4:05 p.m. | Trespass | Arnecliffe
While conducting an interior patrol of Arnecliffe, officers located two Bryn Mawr College students hiding in a second-floor closet. The students were asked to remove their belongings from the unauthorized apartments.

Sunday, Nov. 22 | 7:33 a.m. | Property Damage | Arnecliffe
While conducting an interior patrol of Arnecliffe, officers discovered a third-floor fire escape door unsecured. Facilities Services notified to make repairs to a door and door molding.
