Campus Safety Dispatch was contacted by an outside agency needing to get in touch with a Bryn Mawr College student. The students’ dean was contacted by Campus Safety.

A student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Sunday, May 12, 12:35 p.m. | Medical Response, Carpenter Library
Officers responded to Carpenter Library on the report of an ill student. The student was transported by Narberth Ambulance to Bryn Mawr Hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Officers conducted a well-being check on a resident student. The students’ room was checked with negative results. A note was left for the student to contact the concerned party.

Officers responded to Pen-y-Groes on the report of an alarm activation. Officers report the area was checked and the alarm panel was showing a normal condition. Cause of alarm not determined

A Haverford student reports the theft of her iPhone and Haverford College ID. Lower Merion police responded.

A student reports her concern regarding a student known to her that she has not seen in the past few days. Investigation determined the student had been transported to the Health and Wellness Center and subsequently to Bryn Mawr Hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Friday, May 3, 11:10 p.m. | Noise Complaint, Denbigh Hall
Officers responded to Denbigh Hall on the report of excessive noise. Investigation determined an unregistered party in progress. Party host complied when asked to break up the party.

Officers responded to Arnecliff on the report of a group of students gathered on the patio area. The students left the area when asked to do so.

A student responded to Campus Safety Headquarters to report being bitten by an on-leash dog the previous day.

Officers responded to Rhoads North on the report of the odor of marijuana. Officers were unable to locate the source of the odor.

Officers responded to an on-campus location to assist a student in distress.

A vehicle was booted in the Radnor Lot when it was found to have numerous unpaid parking citations. The boot was removed upon payment of the citations.

A vehicle was booted in the Merion Lot when it was bound to have numerous unpaid parking citations. The boot was removed upon payment of the citations.

Officers responded to Merion Hall basement area on the report of an odor of marijuana. Officers were unable to locate the source of the odor.

Officers responded to the Thorne School on the report of a fall victim. An officer provided an ice pack to the subject who was awaiting a family member who will transport her to a medical facility. Bryn Mawr College Safety Director responded.

A graduate student reports damage to her laptop computer. The student reported the damage to her faculty advisor.

Officers conducted a well-being check on a resident student. Officers made contact with the student who will get in touch with the concerned party.

Saturday, April 13, 9:50 p.m. | Alarm, English House
Officers responded to English House on the report of a burglar alarm. The alarm was accidentally tripped by a faculty member.

Officers responded to Dalton Hall on the report of an odor of natural gas. The odor was believed to be from fresh mulch outside the building.

A Campus Safety Officer transported a student with an ankle injury to Rhoads Hall. The student refused medical attention.

Thursday, April 4, 2:30 p.m. | Information Received, Bettws-y-Coed
A member of staff reports an unwanted phone call on her office phone. Investigation determined the call was a robo call.

Thursday, April 4, 9:55 p.m. | Odor, Brecon Hall
Officers responded to Brecon Hall on the report of the odor of incense. Officers located the source of the odor and reminded the resident that burning incense is prohibited in the residence hall.

Friday, April 5, 2:48 a.m. | Information Received, Bryn Mawr College
Officers spoke to a resident student who reports receiving harassing and unwanted text messages from a person known to her.

Friday, April 5, 10:37 a.m. | Fire Alarm, Rhoads Hall
Officers responded to Rhoads Hall on the report of a fire alarm activation. Investigation determined a lit cigarette in an outside trash can outside had caused a burning condition.

Campus Safety Dispatch was contacted by a member of a Mifflin Borough Volunteer EMT regarding a group of Bryn Mawr College students on the train tracks in Juniata County, PA.

Officers responded to Rockefeller Hall on the report of the odor of marijuana outside of the building. Officers were unable to locate the source of the odor.

Sunday, April 7, 1:21 a.m. | Intoxication, Brecon Hall
Officers responded to Brecon Hall on the report of an ill student. The student, who was suffering from an alcohol related illness, was assessed by offices who determined medical attention was not necessary. The HA will periodically check on the student.

Officers responded to Brecon Hall on the report of an ill student. The student, who was suffering from an alcohol related illness, was assessed by BMCEMS who determined medical attention was not necessary. The HA will periodically check on the student.

Sunday, April 7, 10:33 a.m. | Well-Being Check, Bryn Mawr College
Officers conducted a well-being check. Officers spoke to two students regarding the request and determined both were fine. Officers made several attempts to contact the concerned individual but were unable to get in touch with the caller.

A vehicle was booted when it was found to have numerous outstanding parking citations. The boot was removed upon payment of citations.

Officers responded to the exterior of Rockefeller Hall on the report of a subject smoking marijuana and the odor going in the building. The officers spoke to a student who had been smoking marijuana.

A student was transported to the Health and Wellness Center for evaluation and treatment.

Thursday, March 28, 6:50 p.m. | Head Injury, Goodhart Hall
Officers responded to Goodhart Hall on the report that a student had suffered a head injury. The student declined transport to the hospital or medical treatment.

Friday, March 29, 12:36 p.m. | Odor, Dalton Hall
Officers responded to Dalton Hall on the report of a burning odor. Facilities Services staff on scene to determine the source of the odor.

Friday, March 29, 7:45 p.m. | Odor, Merion Hall
Officers responded to Merion Hall on the report of a burning odor. Investigation determined the odor was from burned food that had been put in the trashcan.

Friday, March 29, 11:39 p.m. | Alarm/Smoke Condition, Campus Center
Officers responded to the Campus Center on the report of a fire alarm. Investigation determined the alarm activation was caused by a smoke machine being used at a party. The area was ventilated and smoke machine turned off.

Saturday, March 30, 12:54 a.m. | Alcohol, Merion Hall
Officers responded to Merion Hall on the report of an ill student. The student, who was suffering from an alcohol related illness, was assessed by BMCEMS. The student was transported by Narberth Ambulance to Bryn Mawr Hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Officers responded to the patio of Rhoads Hall on the report of excessive noise. Officers spoke to students who were having an unregistered party. The students dispersed when asked to do so by officers.

A student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Information received regarding graffiti written in chalk on several campus buildings.

Officers responded to the exterior of Goodhart Hall on the report of possible gunshots. Investigation determined the loud noises were from roman candles that had been ignited at Taft Garden.

Officers responded to Park Hall on the report of an unknown subject in the building. The subject was identified as a newly hired member of staff.

Officers responded to Rhoads South on the report that a student may be intoxicated. Contact was made with the student in question. She was assessed by the Officers and the Hall Advisor will check on her periodically.

Two student packages previously reported as delivered and taken from the delivery area, were found not to have been delivered on March 3. The two packages were subsequently delivered to the students.

A staff member reports that while operating her private vehicle, she struck a campus map display. No injuries; no damage to vehicle or map display.

A vehicle was booted when it was found to have numerous unpaid parking citations. Boot removed upon payment of outstanding citations.

Officers responded to the exterior of Erdman Hall and spoke to three Bryn Mawr College students who had been smoking marijuana outside of the residence hall.

Campus Safety Officers and Facilities Services responded to Radnor Hall on the report of a noxious odor. The building was evacuated. Investigation determined the odor was from spilled nail polish remover. Fans were set up and windows opened to air out the building.

Officers responded to Merion Hall on the report of burned food in a microwave. Officers assisted the student in removing the burned food.

While on patrol, a Campus Safety Officer observed damage to a wall in the Lusty cup area. Information forwarded to Facilities Services.

Campus Safety Officers and BMCEMS responded to Pembroke East on the report of an unconscious student. The student, who was suffering from an alcohol related illness, was transported by Narberth Ambulance to Bryn Mawr Hospital for evaluation and treatment

Saturday, Feb. 16, 1:22 a.m. | Intoxication, Denbigh Hall
Campus Safety Officers and BMCEMS responded to Denbigh Hall on the report of an ill student. The student, who was suffering from an alcohol related illness, was assessed and it was determined transport to the hospital was not necessary.

Campus Safety Officers and BMCEMS responded to Pembroke East on the report of an ill student. The student, who was suffering from an alcohol related illness, was transported by Narberth Ambulance to Bryn Mawr Hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Sunday, Feb. 17, 2:53 a.m. | Medical Response, Merion Hall
Campus Safety Officers and BMCEMS responded to Merion Hall on the report of an ill student. The student was assessed by BMCEMS and it was determined transport to the hospital was not necessary. The student refused further medical attention or transport to the hospital.

A student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2:19 p.m. | Vehicle Accident/On Campus, GSSWSR
While operating a College-owned vehicle, a staff member struck an unoccupied parked car in the Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research parking lot. Owner of parked car notified and insurance information exchanged. No injuries; damage to parked car.
