LITS supports the work of faculty, students, staff, guest researchers, alumnae/i, and prospective students by

• Maximizing the benefits of information resources and technology for learning and scholarship in our liberal arts context
• Participating in national and international open access and open scholarly publishing initiatives
• Enabling administrative functions College-wide, and
• Partnering with Haverford College and Swarthmore College to expand and improve access to campus resources and educational opportunities for the communities of all three institutions.

We pride ourselves on our talented and dedicated staff and our strong commitment to a culture of client service and partnership, teamwork, creativity, and continuous professional and organizational development.

Our mission is to partner with Bryn Mawr College departments and community members to enable teaching, learning, research, and administrative work institution-wide by providing contemporary tools, data, scholarly resources, and expertise. Our staff participate in many ways in the educational mission of the College, including professional development and mentorship for the many students who work with us each year.
