| "STOP BITCHING" TOUR COMES TO BRYN MAWR
The "Stop Bitching Start a Revolution Tour," a multimedia presentation by members of the Zendik Arts collective, will come to Bryn Mawr from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, in Thomas 110.
Zendik Arts is a movement of artists, activists, teachers, craftsmen and women who live and work together on a 200-acre organic farm in Marlinton, W. Va. For more than 35 years Zendik has published Zendik Arts, an independent magazine, and the collective's television show, Fawn Wulf: the Zendik Perspective, is now broadcast in 23 cities and on the Web at http://www.zendik.org/musfest/
zactbm.html. The group also creates music, animation, film, sculpture, dance, architecture, paintings and other art forms.
Zendik raises funds by producing bumper stickers and t-shirts. The extraordinary success of the collective's line of goods bearing the slogan "Stop Bitching Start a Revolution" inspired the performance of the same name, given by the women of Zendik.
"The 'Stop Bitching Tour,'" says a press release, "is about asking, 'What kind of revolution do we want? What kind of revolution can we have to create a life here that we can all believe in?'"
