Bryn Mawr College senior Joanna Simonis broke her own record in the 1500-meter run for the second time this year at the College of New Jersey Invitational on April 30.

Simonis finished the race in a time of 4:41.61 to better the previous mark of 4:43.33, which she set at the 2005 Grizzly Invite held at Ursinus College.

Simonis holds three individual event outdoor track records for Bryn Mawr. She holds the 400-meter record, and the record that she set this year in the 800 meter is currently the third-fastest time run in that event in Division III this year, in addition to the 1500-meter record and her share of four relay records.
