President Nancy J. Vickers invites all members of the Bryn Mawr community to pause for reflection with friends and colleagues as Fall Convocation launches a new academic year on Monday, Aug. 29. Convocation will take place in Thomas Great Hall, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Offices and departments are asked to close to the extent possible during that time so that all may attend.

Fortified by coffee and doughnuts, those who attend will hear from Raymond Albert, Co-Dean of the Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research; Dale Kinney, Dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences; Karen Tidmarsh, Dean of the Undergraduate College; and Thomas R. Tritton, President of Haverford College, as well as Vickers.

Classes will begin following convocation.
