The Owls defeated Elms College 3-0 (30-13, 30-13, 30-12) on Sunday, Oct. 9, and lost two matches on Saturday, Oct. 8. Bryn Mawr's record currently stands at 6-13 (1-4 in the Centennial Conference).

The Owls returned to the court at 3 p.m. to face Haverford College, but the Fords sneaked past their Main Line rival to pick up a 3-0 win (33-31, 30-28, 30-21).
Against Vassar, Kieffaber had two solo blocks and two block assists, while Heslop had a double-double with 16 digs and 16 assists. Senior Taylor Beaudry added 12 digs in the opener.

Kieffaber, who is among the national leaders in blocks per game, recorded four blocks in the defeat. As a team, Bryn Mawr had 10 aces against the Fords.
While most of Bryn Mawr's students were on fall break this week, the volleyball team hosted Centennial Conference team Washington College on Tuesday in a 1-3 loss. The Owls will host Franklin and Marshall on Saturday in a 1 p.m. Centennial Conference match at Bern Schwartz Gymnasium.
