FREE TAX PREPARATION FOR STAFF MEMBERS

Some members of the Bryn Mawr staff can cross one potential headache off their list this year, thanks to CADCOM, the Community Action Development Project of Montgomery County. Angela Smith, the director of a CADCOM program designed to help eligible taxpayers claim the Earned Income Tax Credit, will visit Bryn Mawr's campus on Feb. 6, 13 and 21 to offer free income-tax preparation for staff members who earn less than $36,000 per year. CADCOM is one of Bryn Mawr's partners in the Community Partnership in Action, a program that links the College with several partner organizations in Norristown. Bryn Mawr students have worked at CADCOM both as volunteers and as Praxis interns.
