| A Midsummer Night Outdoors with SPT
Bryn Mawr's Sunken Garden will be the site of a production of A Midsummer Night's Dream by the Shakespeare Performance Troupe this weekend. The show opens tonight, Thursday, April 20, at 8 p.m. It will play again on Friday and Saturday nights at the same time and at a Sunday matinee performance at 2 p.m. Each performance will be followed by a reception; the show is free and open to the public (rain location: Erdman living room).
Meg Reber '06 and Rachel Lavenda '08 will direct a cast of 21. Stage Manager Erina Donnelly '08 will lead the troupe's strongest technical crew ever — two theater jacks and a costumer, all of whom have experience with the Bryn Mawr-Haverford Theater Program's Main Stage and are employed by the College as theater technicians. The troupe has given itself a challenge equal to its new technical expertise by mounting and lighting a show outside for the first time ever.
