A memorial service for Associate Professor Emeritus of Social Work Joyce E. Lewis, M.S.S. '54, will take place on Sunday, Dec. 3, at 2 p.m. in the Ely Room of Wyndham Alumnae House. Lewis, who served on the Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research faculty from 1965 to 1994, founded the School's Lesbian/Gay Support Group in 1978. In 1996, after her retirement, she received an M.A. in theological studies from the Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, Mass.
